Do you love the Fallout series, but you always feel pestered by all those darn questlines? Do you like experimenting with the mechanics of a game? Do you love fishing out lore at your own pace? Do you like grinding? Well, look no further, fellow gamer, as Kenshi may be the game for you.
Ok, imagine this: a game that contains the intricate (and sometimes wacky) lorebuilding of Fallout:New Vegas, the base-building of Fallout 4, an open world with dazzling scenery, and an overall samurai-cowboy vibe. You in yet?
Or how about the fact the Kenshi has no questline, no real deadlines. Yeah, sure, sometimes you build your base in the wrong spot and now a group of Shek are coming in 12 hours to take all your food; but that's what turrets are for! Kenshi allows you to build your own story, and to discover all the politics and lore of this world at your own pace. The world is alive, and your actions can determine the fates of entire civilizations. But you don't have mess with any of that! There's no pressure to go one way or the other: if you just want to farm cactus and make rum for a living, do it! If you want to hunt bounties, do it! If you want to get enslaved and see how long it takes before the Holy Nation works you to death, do it!!! The world is your oyster, baby, and your imagination is the only limit.
Now, carpe those diems and be the samurai cowboy you were always meant to be. You won't regret it.
