After putting the game on hold, I finally played it through. It was a really pleasant experience, some people bash the ending, but I think it was on point, especially with what the developers wanted to tell us with it, so I saw no issue there.

The only problem for me was the graphics, I do think this looks the least good out of the Monkey Island games, but after some time you get used to it (also I felt it will be way worse after seeing the first few screenshots).

The puzzles were not as complex as before (minus the telltale series, but you know.. telltale), but there is not much to expect nowdays, especially when the games are now made for controllers in mind, not just kbm.

Overall I had a really great and nostalgic journey, and I feel if this was the last part of the Money Island series it is a great closing entry. (Even though I do wish for more, as you should with your favourite game I feel)

If this were a game I would imagine it to be a funny, puzzle game, that reminds me a little of Evoland, and I would recommend it, but there is sadly no game here.

I bought this game when it came out, played it, but the progress breaking bugs (NPCs dissappearing, gates not opening, when they finally do there still is an invisible wall blocking you), the weird pathing, and the annoying monsters (weird placement, scattering so you need to hunt them down one by one - which in case of an NPC if you don't do they will follow it till the end) made me quit and wait for a big fix.

After second dawn came (and let's be honest one of the first sentence was about making new content, but eventually they agreed with the community that the game needs fixing did not sound good at all) I figured I give the game a try, and the problems mentioned above are still present. a big "fix the game" 2 part patch, and the progression is still broken, movement still clunky.
This game could have been a fun game, but with these (seemingly) unfixable issues it is not.

Pretty good combination of the Dragon Quest series, and builder games, with a nice story, and likeable characters. The greatest negative I can think of is some dialogues are unskippable, and it takes a really long time for them to disappear.

IMO the best ARPG out in the market at the moment, and it's completely free (depends on who you ask)

The best game to mod for 2 days then play 1 hour

Now you can die horribly with strangers. yey!
