Great game! Is fine, runs fine! Don't listen to the blebs that either don't have the money or computer to play it properly.

Early Access Review
They overdid it with the nerf of Ice Shards. Sure, they nerfed the boss-farming build and it was probably needed, I don't know, cos I'm not there! But they also destroyed Ice Shards for leveling chars. Around level 10 you now hit a wall and need to kite standard mobs of your level or slightly above over half the map, mobs around 3 levels above me easily kill me, cos they need minutes to die! And I talk about default mobs, not even named ones! Could I still play on? Sure, but it makes exactly NO FUN anymore! And on Level 9 I don't care at the level 40 boss farm builds! If you nerf something at this early phase, consider the whole level process, especially on a Tier 1 skill, not only the "OMG, THAT YOUTUBER KILLED A BOSS WITH IT IN 4 SECONDS, LETS NERF TO THE GROUND!!!!!!!!111111" like you obviously did!
To bad I'm over the time for refund or I would, you obviously only want hardcore gamers who can afford to put 40 hours a week into the game, not people with a job and a family that only can play a few hours per week at best! Well, like said, can't refund, so I check back in a year or two if you patched any fun for non hardcore gamers in!

Game runs fine and makes fun.
Everyone whining probably needs to replace his potato with an actual computer.

What is there much to say? Baldurs Gate 3 is a fantastic RPG with a lot of attention to detail and you can tell that the game was developed with fun in mind, not the publisher's profit. Thanks Larian Studios!

Still an early review, but let me extend it a bit.

Game is overall at a good start, if you don't expect all Planet Coaster 1 contents + DLC for just 50 bucks (new game in new Engine version means, they can't even just take them over. But I'm sure most things will come back in updates but also paid DLC).

Right now there are many smaller problems and bugs, as to expect from a new game. That said, I agree that this game is maybe published a bit rushed, personal guess, cos the didn't want to move from their usual November release date (all Planet games released on November).

- Pathfinding looks pretty flimsy, guests don't queue properly, guests and staff collection in a blob and things alike
- Maintenance is not always working, something isn't right there also
- Safeguards also fail sometimes.
- The UI is unintuitive and overcomplex. And no, I'm not sure it's cos of console players, cos they are whining as much as we do about it.
- Some graphic glitches, for example on water rides or some ground textures
- I think the ingame notifications are a bit oversensible and also, don't disappear on time

But there already was one Hotfix, more things are announced, including the removal of workshop download limit on PC (4gb now since last patch for now), raise of Guest limit on PC (6000 right now) and they are looking into waterslide physics. All in all I'm positive Frontier will soon have fixed most of the problems.

From a technical view, it runs fine for me, no crash until now and at least in my experiments and smaller parks (up to around 2k guests for now) I hold most of the time over 120fps (RTX 4080) on very high / ultra settings.

All in all it's - like said - fun and I think a good base for what will become of it with more contents and DLC.

Would I recommend? Honestly, if there was a neutral choice, this review would right now be neutral, but there isn't, so I say, recommend, if you don't have unrealistic expactations, it's a new game in a new engine, neither are there all the contents PC1 has right now, nor is it completely free of bugs and problems right now.

Oh, and some are whining, cos there is a day 1 DLC, but honestly, that's the rides from the Deluxe Edition, it was to be expected to be available from day 1. You may not like it, but then you're not liking surly 80% of nowadays A+ titles.

So, in between I'm over the 8 hour mark, so let me adjust this review a bit. The important part: The game is still fun and enjoyable!
the combat is action focused and fast, the story, while for sure not the best ever written still interesting enough to follow it to see wwhat happens next.
Some say, this is no RPG, to that I've to say, they are wrong.
That said, it's probably a bit more on the axis to action-rpg (though not as much as for example a Diablo). Most decisions the player can make don't feel really important, I don't have the feeling my decisions decide the outcome of the world. But there are of course enough other rpg elements, starting form char creation, the class and skill system, building up of relations to your companions and so on. So claiming this is not an rpg is just wrong.

Okay, do we come to points of critique:
- Before I wrote, very linear levels / world. While this is still true, it has gotten better, even if the way is mostly linear, there are now more options to explore a bit, to stroll aside, to find things. It's still far away from open world or alike but it's fine, you should just be aware of that.
- Also still true what I said about character creation. While I'm fine with my char for now, it's hard to make good looking chars.
- The story is not as bad as some want to make it, but like said, also doesn't win prices for story telling, it's mostly average and fine.

Also it still stays what I said before, the big politics and woke agenda just isn't there. No one wants to make you gay or trans! This discussion is totally blown out of scale and doesn't matter much in game at all. If you're scared to chose your pronouns maybe stay away, for anyone else, who can live with the points of critique I mentioned, I can clearly recommend this as fast paced action-like-rpg.

Great, fun coop game!
Oh, and ignore the negative reviews, the requirement of a PSN account was ALWAYS stated on the store page, those people are just too dumb to read.

Game itself is a good and even fun fighting game if you are willing to invest the time to learn it. There are some downsides, like pluggers and bad connection sometimes but that's most of the time actually not a problem. This alone wouldn't bring me to NOT recommend the game, so why don't I recommend it?
The monetization model the Publisher has chosen. You're not only paying full price (Over 100 bucks for the deluxe version), it also has an in game store. But even that wouldn't really be a problem for me, seeing the stuff you can buy there for money is only cosmetics, that's actually fine for me.
But where it ends for me is with the battle pass. Because here it's not simple cosmetic stuff behind a paywall, here they are working with FOMO, here they are cleary saying "Buy now or miss out" and that's the red line for me! This is scummy as hell. And if this isn't enough of scummy behavior, lets shortly look at the price of the "battle pass". It's 600 coins, so you just spent around 6 bucks and have it? Hell no, of course not, the smallest amount of coins you can buy is 500, so you've got to purchase at least 1000 coins if you want the battle pass premium tier.
And with that, we are easily on Diablo Immortal level of scummy monetraization but Diablo Immortal was at least a Free-2-play game, Tekken 8 is not!

Play Holocure! And stream Hinotori and Sparks and DO U!
Ok, seriously, a fantastic and addicting Hololive fan game, so well made!

And don't be fooled because it says "1 hour played at time of review" above, I've played the previous versions for many hours, like I said, it's pretty addicting!

After nearly two hours and the first fights I can say, I love this game. I may later edit this review, cos I've by far not seen everything for now.
Yes, it's not JA2 (I say at least half the bad reviews are just that "Can't recommend, cos it's not JA2") but it's a brilliant turn based combat game. Each Merc has it's own personality, each Mercs gives his own comments on things that happens. The story is maybe not the most original one but doesn't really matter, the fun part is planning your next move, freeing another village, training a militia and so on.
From a technical view, this is surly not the most refined product but for me it works without bigger problems, the graphic looks ok, you need to get used on controls and ui but once you are, it's fine. Some report about gpus that get to hot, but I don't have that, for me it works fine.

If you except a JA2 copy, then play JA2, not this and if you can't life with an UI and controls or camera angles that are not perfect, than it's probably also not your game. Also if you expect the most exquisite graphics of all time, not your game! But everyone else can go for it, especially if you're a fan of turn based combat!
