Thought I was the only one but crashing at launch with no fix

"Hurr corrupted game files/windows/etc"

No, since a lot of us are having the same issue, I am bound to blame ubisoft for doing something on their side and breaking the game.

I have no clue what I played, but everything felt tedious. Progression, ranking up, weapon customization; as much as it is explained by mandatory tutorials, I could not bother to pay attention. Maybe its worth with friends, maybe its worth for some, definitely not worth full price.

Really a callback to games in the past, the proximity chat is fun, gameplay and gunplay is fun, vehicles aren't horridly overpowered. PC specs seem to be minimal and it runs extremely stable post the beta. The battlefield we needed.

Give it a second chance, I dropped it for a long time after release due to the bugginess and jankyness. I regret doing so, because I had a great time in Night City after the updates.

Really fun, but some limits on gunplay, a bit balancing issues to be ironed out. Player base has been great so far as long as people use microphones. AI does feel a bit wonky at times, getting stuck to terrain can happen.

I really wish they would implement better squadron management for officers. (Spend some money to buy them yourself? Hell why not allow Officers to call in resupplies themselves using points they earn instead of bothering the commander that is busy trying to manage a small network)

In regards to the gunplay, its hard to tell sometimes if you are being shot at unless you are staring at your health bar, some weapon balancing issues I can think of is to the basic rifle on both sides, the power armor on the GSF is clearly superior to Axeron and I normally even skip on getting one at all in that side. Auto buying weapon modules or weapons would be nice (say if you had enough at respawn). There's ranging issues, where bullets don't hit targets.

AI can either be demonic lead farmers or potatoes absorbing damage.

One of the more frustrating bugs is capturing bugging out if you look away or if a teammate runs by which resets the counter, being forced to stare at the capture points is weird.

The damage indicators need to be upgraded since I won't lie, I seem to be getting most of my kills from enemies facing capture points and not noticing they are getting shot at.

As of now I recommend it on the solid basis that its really fun, and I hope the devs can polish some of the issues mentioned, which are somewhat easy fixes.

I served at a combat capacity as a medic in the 101st Airborne division, all I can say is, I rather ruck 147 pounds at NTC with my scout platoon than play this game.

Bullet physics from Arma (I am guessing?) I was expecting at least some solidarity with realism (who the ♥♥♥♥ zeros their rifle to 100m?!?!) Iron sights everywhere for some reason (Like even if they wouldn't give me an ACOG I had a M68).

I may attribute this to the free weekend, but the hard on for "hardcore realism" from some of the players was a gigantic turn off.

It's literally a bunch of adolescents role playing soldier, so if that's your thing... well go for it?
