If you like the game play of Total War and the quick replay ability of a rogue-like style game like FTL, this is a game for you. Still in very early development, but is a fun game to quickly play and see if you can make it to the end of the demo. Looking forward to the full release and future factions.

Fresh new coat of paint and polish with updates to the UI and god powers. Everything that was great about the original was elevated in the Retold addition.

A fun left 4 dead like game, great to play with friends! Sound track while fighting off hordes of enemies slaps. Can be a little repetitive at times, but the increase in enemy variant types and difficultly make up for it. Aesthetic and the graphics are on point.

DEATHLOOP is a immersive game throwing the player straight into the action. The story is thrilling with the "side quests" helping to tie up sub plots to the story. Colt and Julianna have fantastic voice acting and are, in my opinion, best characters in the game. Game play and abilities work smoothly being able to combine shift and slide to effortlessly glide across the map. Gun play feels better once you enter endgame content, but lacking in gun variety.

NPC AI lack in brains. The NPCs for the most part stand in place being cannon fodder on your way to murder your visionary target. Only time NPCs get the better of you is when you're fighting 6+ of them at the same time while your low on health.

The level design changing based on time of day keeps players looking for everything new to the map, only downside to this is its quite repetitive once you start getting past the 10 hr mark and have explored almost everything (but what can you do when you relive the same day over and over).

Juilanna invasions will get your heart racing near the end of your killing spree of visionaries. Sometimes you get the best of her, other times latency/shift make her almost untouchable killing you repeatedly until you've used your last reprise and you have to start the loop again.

Overall: 8.75/10 would probably buy at full price again.
