This is a full and all out review of DOOM. This review will be divided into three parts: Singleplayer, Multiplayer, and Snapmap. NO SPOILERS

Singleplayer: 9/10

The singleplayer of this game is amazing. The monsters are fun and intresting and welll placed and balanced. There is a suprisingly strong story plot for the game and can be as strrong as you want it to be. What I mean by this is that there is a minor story, but if you explore a lot and find things, it can make the story more in depth and intresting. The characters feel real and realatable beacuse of this.If you want to play the game only for the shooting and don't care about the story, that is fine. If you want an adventurous game with a story, that is also fine. This game suits both parties. The audio of this game is amazing as well as the AI and mechanics. I would have given this game a 10/10 if is was not for a few things.

1. The Framerate would drop and times there were a lot of monsters.

2. The load times between levels were unbareable and very long.

3. !!!MOST IMPORTANT!!! The game crashed on me once. I know this has hapened a few time to multiple people but it only happened to me once. This is unacceptable for a tripple a game and needs to be fixed imediatly.

Multiplayer: 5/10

The multipliplayer is hard to rate. It would be fun but there are a few issues.

1. VERY FEW PEOPLE PLAY MUULTIPLAYER (at least on PC) because of this, I have only been able to play deathmatch, which is pretty fun but can get repeditive. I would like to play other modes but barly anyone is on them.

2. Lots of the weapons are unbalnced in the game. People can run around with the minigun or rocket launcher and kill people easy. They should be power ups or nerfed.

3. There are very few weapons and maps in multiplayer; I think titanfall had more weapons than doom. It is stupid that they are coming later with a $40 DLC pack. They heavly efficised the multiplayer on Doom yet have it limited?
BUT I have to give doom props for the amount of weapon and character cousiminization(look wize). There is a lot to cousimize your character and weapons with in Doom.

Snapmap; 8/10

The snapmap feature in Doom is to where players can make their own levels and maps to share with the community. The map making feature is very cool and awesome (10/10) but what puts snapmap down the board is how confusing it is. They need to reorginise the map finding features and put a tutorial on map making.



So with all this said, should you buy it?

Yes BUT only when it goes on sale for the time being. This game is currently only woth $40 in its state and that is being nice. The singleplayer is not worth $60 even though of how good it is. The singleplayer can take you 10 hours to beat causually or 2 hours if you speed run it. There are lots of secrets to look for in it so that can help you extend its playtime but thats still not enough. The singleplayer is a perfect time length its just the other two feature need to be worked on.

I will update this review if doom changes in the future but for now in total id give it a 7.5/10.

Ideas to fix this:
-NO DLC
-Custom monster/hunter things (Ex: Spore to where you can make your creature look howerver it wanted)
-Adjustable weapon loadouts

Edit: Now it is free? Great way to take money and run. Just showig us how bad this game really is.

-there were a few points in the game to where it was hard to figure out what to do
