I don't recommend it. Has potential early on, the cracks really start to wear in during the midgame, and then it completely runs out of ideas and you have a few hours of death march fighting reskins of the same enemies and bosses in horrible environments ahead of you. it has one idea for boss attacks and it spends it on the first boss in the game, so get ready to jump over a lot of shockwaves.

Easily my game of the year. I can't get enough. It's just the part of an MMO I enjoy without the other MMO cruft attached to it.

Inexplicably, it also has the kindest in-game community I've ever seen in a game like this. People are friendly, open to constructive advice, and willing to explain things or assist new players. It's magical.

The combat feels extremely clunky, and running this game made my CPU fan spin up to maximum speed for some inexplicable reason.

Very strong fundamentals going on here. It's obviously a bit unpolished, but it's a demo for an early access game, that's to be expected.

There's a lot to praise here, but something that's sticking with me is the spritework and animation. It's difficult to get a sense for how it feels from screenshots, but this may genuinely be one of the most gorgeous pixel art games ever made.

The most in-depth and immersive life sim I've ever seen, in any setting. The prose is fantastic and evokes the grungy street level vibe perfectly. Mechanically, I've been playing for 81 hours at the time of this review and I figure out something brand new and mind blowing about cyberpunkdreams' interlinked systems every day. It's an absolutely phenomenal achievement of writing and system design, please give it a shot.
