Bought this in early access, and played about 4 hours. I knew then that I couldn't get too far into this story without becoming obsessed. So I waited. Three years. I have to say, this is the perfect hybrid of old BG1&2 and Divinity. It is something special, and I don't think we'll see its like again. It is also complete. Feature complete, story complete, content complete. That is unheard of now. I'd buy it again if I could, and may get it on PS5 just to support this team more.

I have played all of the Tactics Ogre games from Super Nintendo and the PSX eras, but, when they originally came out. Being quite some time ago, most of the story beats here, are new to me again, and I must say, this is a tremendous game. It's worth every penny, and would recommend it to anyone that has never played it, or has maybe only played Final Fantasy Tactics. The depth is unparalleled.

Early Access Review
Even though this is still in Early Access, it is already full-featured. The campaign is robust and all there. Having a few hundred hours in the previous entries I can say without a doubt this is an improvement in every way. Lots of quality of life improvements and the graphics are pretty. I can't recommend enough. This is GOTY material.

Early Access Review
Just got this. I have been supporting this company since the original Endless Space. I must say that this game has taken what made Endless Legend great, and integrated it into its gorgeous sci-fi universe to create something stunning. The UI is something to behold. I don't think I've ever played a game with a more elegant and fluid interface. I can't reccommend this enough. Even in Alpha it is better than Beyond Earth and Gal Civ III (both of which I've sunk a lot of time into). Very VERY well done.

Well, I am a enormous fan of Civilization and Alpha Centauri. That said, I cannot fully endorse this new game. While its not a bad game, its inherently flawed. There is no real divergence between victory conditions, almost completly useless city-states, etc. There is no real reward. There is no substance. The factions are all completely bland. If you didn't like CIV 5, you'll hate this. If you did, you'll miss the fun of the historical background. GOG has Alpha Centauri. Play that. Better yet, play Pandora right here on Steam.

If, in your gaming memory you remember the classics like "Freespace" and "Privateer", and loved them, this is the game for you. The interface is slick, operative and easy to use an understand. There is a campaign, but my limited time with it just made me hungry for the freeroam mode, as I wanted to be a smuggler or pirate. What's more the team at LGM is going to keep improving this title in the coming months, and it is likely to become not only a stopgap for ELITE: Dangerous and StarCitizen, but a competitor; and a great one. I can't recommend this game enough. You are really in for a treat if you take the time to take the tutorials and just be ready to forge your destiny.
