I am updating my review to a negative review due to the use of AI art. What I said about the game design still seems to stand, so I will include my original review below but unfortunately I cannot in good conscience maintain the positive review due to this. It's a shame too because the original artwork has a great character to it that fits the vibe and the time period it feels like this project is trying to draw from.

I have been really impressed by how fast the updates are coming out for this game. The game is rough around the edges but with the progress that's being made a lot of that seems to be being softened, and I think a lot of those rough edges come from intentional choices from the devs. I really appreciate the community aspect and freedom that the game offers.

Really solid effort by the dev to make a type of game that I think is missing in spades from the MMO scene right now. I'd rather have 100 small, rough games like Nin Online rather than more AAA slop. Looking forward to what the game has in store for the future.

Great game but seriously made for masochists and people who are willing to hate themselves for a while to get to the good bits. Most of the difficulty is overblown but the back half of the game will make you want to tap out. A lot of the actually cool and unique stuff mechanically can be ran through fairly quickly depending on your RNG which is unfortunate. Some of the concepts I wish had been taken a little bit further, and others I think could have stood to have been dialed back slightly (mostly things that are more "combat" heavy). If you are a sicko and know you will like the game you've probably already picked it up or will pick it up. Anyone else should give it a thought and read through other reviews.

Really solid crpg with some cool skills and a really awesome setting to explore. I enjoyed my time with the game really want to see what else Iron Tower has in store for their future projects! We need more indie crpgs!

Extremely reasonably priced rerelease of a crpg unlike some other more recent examples. Definitely support the release of more games that were previously unavailable on Steam especially if they are at a reasonable price point like this!

This game feels like it was designed for the PSP or Vita and I mean that as a compliment. It feels budget and I wish it was priced more appropriately due to that. That being said I have been having a blast and ultimately I think that this game is best played with other people in coop. I can imagine that playing it solo might not be as fun of an experience so I would definitely keep this in mind if you are planning to pick it up.

EASY recommendation if on sale, positive recommendation for the actual game but the price that they decided on this is way too much upfront.

Really solid imsim playground. The story as set dressing doesn't do as much for me but the actual systems and interactivity of the world are so solid that they more than make up for it. The chaos that can ensue in the middle of a well laid plan due to this interactivity brings back memories from playing Prey and some of the other greats.

In addition to this I actually adore the mission design. Each of the missions feels like its own bite-sized experience that is maybe 20 - 40 minutes. Great for jumping in on a lunch break or between working on other things.

Overall really good package that is extremely reasonably priced!

This game has really consumed me and I consistently come back to it. Really great atmosphere that feels appropriately horrific. The writing is sparse but the concepts and details of it got me hooked and motivated to seek out the answers. The challenge of the game feels really fair, and the risk-reward decision making makes the game pretty engaging. More than worth the money!

Really solid game that deserves a lot more credit. Pretty good score that is consistently good throughout, challenging but for the most part fair and some frankly really awesome designs. Both in terms of character designs but also game design for some of the patterns/bosses. Having a ton of fun even if I am getting bonked a lot. Definitely a game I want to continue to grind out.

Indie games like this deserve a ton more attention than they get, please spread the word!

Honestly I never got pinball until this game. I don't know if it's the presentation or the fact that it mixes in some new ideas, notably from a number of genres I like. But this game actually brought me that moment of finally "getting" what people like in pinball, digital or not. I have super been enjoying this game after grabbing if on a sale, far more than I thought I ever would have. Super good presentation, music, and game feel. Every day I am aiming to bump up my personal high score and I look forward to tossing increasingly more "just one rounds" at this game.
