I would do anything for this videogame. Easily one of the most filled out early access games i've come across in recent years, and with regular updates that always have me stoked out of my mind to come back to, whether that be minor quality of life or new zones that are still getting added. Like everyone is saying, terraria stardew.

Exploration and zone progression is fairly quick, and you can fairly quickly set yourself up at base with ore (and some farming) automation to allow you the freedom to truly just muck around in the world and find collectables and special gear, grind skills, or base build to hell and back (my favourite) without a constant pressure and need to keep finding resources to survive. I would say about the past ~180 hrs have just been about base building in various areas and fine tuning power systems and decor, or other completionist activities.

Presents a survival challenge in-world but never in a way that forces you to struggle up the entire time- returning to old areas gets increasingly easy, and even old bosses that gave you a run for your money can be farmed later down the line with ease. With a set up base it's really great for players (like me) who like a survival sandbox in theory, but in execution like to choose/have cycles of 'surviving' that allow room for long cool off periods of tinkering and other activities before going back into your latest dangerous zone.
