Good game but the lack of updates and bug fixes let it down, buy it on a sale

Updating re the new update:
The new patch notes are bait to get people to download it again, voice is completely broken still and when bought up in the discord the devs ignore messages questioning it :)

I was in the last two and the guy was really nice but then I beat him and he called me the n word

I don't understand how this has got negative reviews, it's a really good game that actually requires people to think rather than going guns blazing and shooting everyone.
I would say a 9/10 game, the downside I find is the lack of 'adding' in the game, of course you can do this through steam but I'd much rather have an entire H1Z1 friendlist over a steam one.
For instance, I was playing with this random guy for like two hours. We were on the move looking for food and water when suddenly H1Z1s server shut down, I forgot his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ name and I lost a friend.
