Can't speak for other platforms, but at least on PC I have had very little "game breaking" issues. Yes there are plenty of bugs, but in my 60 hours of playing I encountered only 4 serious bugs where I got stuck and had to reload, and 1 crash.

I am playing this game in Japanese for immersion, and so far it has been an enjoyable experience. It is not the next Skyrim, but *on PC* it is not a bad game. Even at its current state I would say it is worth the money.
