I think, as most people have also said, this game is absolutely not worth it unless it's on a deep discount and even then it's a push. It's nothing like its console counterpart, missing well over half the usual features you would expect in career mode. The online is completely dead and has been that way for a long time prior to me editing this review, yet the game has to remain in a constant online state. The sentiment echoed throughout the community that it's just a reskinned 2k22 is thoroughly accurate. That being said, if you don't mind grinding a "little bit" (BIG emphasis on the quotations) and the game is on discount you should still not get this game. Find a way to play 2k16 and enjoy the golden era.
