Easily one of the best sequels and best indie games in gaming history. It builds on the fun and difficulty of the first game without catering or watering down any mechanics, visuals, or design choices. Team Cherry knocked it out of the park, and I think the wait was incredibly worth it. I can't wait for the DLC content. A lot of people say this game is "too hard" but I honestly found it easier to progress through than the first game. It's still challenging, but I think it rewards those who push through and keep going. Also, the price is an insane deal for an icon of the indie scene.

Going in, just from some media I had seen, I was expecting a souls-like, similar to Wukong, with good graphics, and deep intricate Chinese lore. I was surprised to be playing a wuxia fantasy mmo souls-like with so many side-quests, mechanics, menus, gacha mechanics, online roleplay, guilds, geese, tai chi, cultivation ceremonies, trivia games, card-games, chess............ This game has SO much to do for costing nothing, It's actually insane. The devs are continuing to add stuff, and there is a healthy international community enjoying the game, which makes for a fun and engaging online experience. This game is a must-play and luckily it costs nothing to try.

I haven't even gotten into the guns yet and I'm already absolutely loving this. If you like Ark, Pokemon Legends Arceus, or Breath of the Wild than this game is for you. It has elements of all 3 yet stands on its own. I can easily see myself sinking hundreds of hours into this game, especially since it also has multiplayer/co-op and its early access so they might even add more pals, upgrades, QoL changes, etc.

Despite being a hentai game, the actual gameplay is fun and top-notch stuff. There were times where it was legitimately challenging. The hentai scenes are pretty good as well, and can be turned off in the game settings if you prefer to avoid them. I think its worth the cost. The story is at times kind of generic and cliche but at other times actually wholesome or funny. Overall, I think its worth picking up if you are interested in a hentai game with decent card strategy gameplay but don't want low-effort bs like a lot of the other 18+ titles on steam.

This game is an ambitious project by a small team of developers and its incredible what they have managed to achieve. The world is enormous and interconnected and the armor and designs of enemies is awesome. The developers are actively engaged with the community and are looking to continue to improve the game post-launch and are looking at feedback. Right now, I think the game is good but still needs some polishing. Better controls are being worked on right now, so it feels unfair to give the game a negative review simply for that alone. My biggest con atm is that I can't get it to work properly on my Linux PC(which is NOT the dev's fault). ** It runs semi-decently on Steam Deck with a mouse and keyboard plugged in, and I've heard from the devs they are planning on making sure its SD verified, so stay tuned for that as well.**Edit: I have gotten the game to work using Proton-GE-50 and it runs smooth as butter! The game has also gotten a tremendous amount of updates and fixes since this review. Major props to the devs for working so hard on their vision.

Fun relaxing puzzle game. If you like plants and a little bit of reading, as well as some puzzles, this is a great game to playthrough. Has 2 endings and 77 plants to collect and identify. You can also pet the cat.

Simply addicting. This game has not only created its own genre but has managed to keep people coming back over and over for more, despite its clones. The creator has continued to add more and more content to the game over time and for the price, its worth the money hands down.

Just play it. Don't look up videos, don't watch youtubers, don't look up guides. Just. Play. It.

Easily GOTY. A bug-free, enjoyable experience with solid writing that holds up amazingly well 16 years after the original.
