In spite of all the bugs and crashes, I could really feel all the love and effort that was put into making this game. I had a lot of fun exploring every town and talking to every single character. Each one had their own charm. The characters in Dead Money DLC and Old World Blues were especially amazing. However, in terms of gameplay, Dead Money was definitely a very terrible experience for me. I went a tanky melee build with zero charisma, so I had a lot of fun just being a high-intelligence brute with no speaking skills swinging my way through New Vegas. When I first started the game in Goodsprings then went on to Primm, I was already having a lot of fun talking to all the characters in those towns and learning about each one. They all had their own personalities and backstories and I found that beautiful. One thing I can complain about is that some environments were really poorly lit and things were hard to see in caves and sometimes even in buildings. This might have been due to the filter that kind of made everything the same color. Another thing I would like to complain about is that the Legion kind of just seemed like a black-and-white bad guy. Apparently, they were supposed to have been more fleshed out but it didn’t come to fruition. Other than that, I really loved this game!

This game is one of the reasons why I love my friends. If I had never had this game recommended to me, I would have never played it on my own. When the game was first suggested, a lot of people warned that I probably wouldn’t like it and could drop it at any time. But surprise, surprise, I love this game! I’m super surprised about it too. This game was super fun and satisfying. Each new arena was exhilarating and the bosses were equally fun. My favourite weapon in this is the Gauss Cannon!!

I was apprehensive about playing this game, since I’m not that good with horror games but this game was pretty fun! Thankfully, the dead bodies bugged out and started convulsing (break-dancing) on the floor, so it helped eliminate a lot of the scary atmosphere for me. The physics in the game were really funny. Unfortunately, the game bugged out for me during a mission and I couldn’t progress the storyline.

I think the attacks in this game are really satisfying. I haven’t beaten it yet, but I’ve come really close! My favourite item in this game is mushroom boy because having a little mushroom buddy that headbutts enemies with you is super cute. Remind me to update this review when I actually beat the game.

Gameplay: beat up big monster. Feel good about self after.
Lore: what the hecc brain hurty! too much think! only beat up!!!
Final Death Count: 799
Playtime: 103:12:56

Okay this game was HECCIN FUN. I liked it a lot!!! Environments were POG. NPCs were POG. Most of the bosses unfortunately became more or less the same, where you can easily defeat most of them by just going for their butt (resulting in me repeatedly shouting “GIMMIE DA BOOTY” for most of the bosses). The only ones I really had difficulty with and had to think for were hydra, asylum demon, bed of chaos, and manus. If you’re sad that you missed me playing this, don’t be. Most of the bosses were beat in under three tries using the Booty Method™ and most of the 103 hours were spent being lost and running around slapping every single wall to see if it was a fake wall or not.
Will I play more Dark Souls games? YES!! Heck yeah I want to. I absolutely loved this game. Level design was amazing too.

I actually really liked this game, in spite of all the bugs and the fact that my computer could barely handle it. The story was very compelling. All of the endings were extremely well-written, amazingly varied, and each equally satisfying. I also had a lot of fun bashing enemies around with a giant hammer. This game got a lot of flack on release, but I truly think this game was a masterpiece in spite of all its technical shortcomings.

Pain? Yes. Finished? No. Play more? Fine. In the future. Right now, I’m tilted and on break from this game.
I thought Dark Souls was supposed to be the standard for “holy heck is this game difficult” but this thing makes Dark Souls look like a cakewalk.
