Assuming games with frequent, sometimes downright inconvenient bugs aren't a deal breaker for you, then I definitely recommend this game. I'm talking the floor in some spots of my freighter straight up doesn't exist anymore kinds of inconvenient. This game is held together with scotch tape and frayed string, but as someone that's had this game since its release, I personally find it endearing.
Speaking of the early days though, wow this game has come a long way. There's so much to do now that I feel like I've still barely scratched the surface. There's fishing, colony management, freighters and everything that comes with that, starship building, archeology, base building. I'm finding the game infinitely harder to put down lately.
If you like space, atmospheric open world games, or just want a game to run around in for a while and look at the silly critters the game generates for you, No Man's Sky is definitely worth a shot.

This game had me stressed about making the fake in-game video game rent while listening to some of the best songs I've heard in ages and experiencing the full range of human emotion over the various characters. Can't recommend it enough

My only complaint about this game is that there isn't more of it. Some of the most fun I've had playing a game in a long time

Dwarf dressup sim with some mining and shooting breaks in-between. Very good if you like having a dedicated make noise button and petting various things. The rest of the game's also really fun I guess
