Game was good, first Ys game for me and it was highly recommended.

The only con that I had was getting stuck on the double jump to get into the Elderm Mountains. Turns out it's an issue with the frames and after restarting the game running Directx8 and turning on V-sync, I was able to finally get up onto the ledge.

Story was good, voice acting wasn't terrible, characters are memorable, and the world (while small) was fun to explore.

Bosses are pretty easy except for the last 2, but I can't see them being easy on any difficultly.

Combat was surprisingly fun? Having been my first hack n slash in a while, it was fun to run at enemies spamming the attack key.

All in all, I would say that it's a solid game and I had a lot of fun playing it.

Also, completely forgot to mention, the music goes HARD. Played cohesively with the story and added that extra oomph at certain parts.
