extremely charming art style with a very fun premise. the game can be buggy and certainly needs more end-game, progression, and tempo balancing, but the foundation of a really enjoyable game is here and definitely worth the pickup.
i would love to see a cookie clicker style prestige system descending into absolute nonsense progression, but that may be too intense on the engine lol

i love this game vanilla and mods add to the experience in such unique ways.

watching your story unfold and your colony take shape with permanent sacrifices and tough decisions is one of the most satisfying feelings, and why i personally love the colony builder genre as a whole.

i'd be a liar if i said i didn't tear up just a little bit on my first ship sent off, the best part being you can have a totally wholesome experience just playing in "endless" mode, that is continuiously building and becoming wealthier and wealthier until something eventually kills you.

couldn't recommend this game enough, no matter how you decide to play you'll have a blast with the challenges and charm rimworld has to offer. it's absolutely worth the price tag.

look if you enjoy traditional MMORPG's this isn't the game for you. The control scheme is really strange and not traditional among classics, making the game difficult to grasp.
The music that plays is on a very short loop, and the questing and dialogue system is very strange.
I didn't need to play for long to know that this game wasn't for me.

it's a classic, undoubtedly one of your mates has this game and you folks can play it together for cheap. multiplayer is painless and there's enough gameplay to keep people playing for months on end. if you get bored, you can always start over and take a different route to your gameplay style (such as becoming a mage rather than a melee man).

I've definitely enjoyed playing this game, I played it before on my sister's computer and it was very fun. I was deep into the storyline, it intrigued me and challenged me. Definitely a starter of a new era of survival RPG games.

Only way you can ruin this game is youtube. Don't do it. ;)
