The saddest part about this game is how very unlikely we will get anything else from such a rich and interesting universe. Playing this on the Steamdeck was easy and fun also.

Goodbye to Disco...

Get asked to find a ring inside a barn
End up in the Underdark fighting Minotaur's
Play for several hours in the depths before I remember to return the ring
Get sidetracked again with ancient temple ruins filled with traps and monsters
Still has not returned the ring...

Certainly a fun time burner messing around with all the ingame genetics. But also unforgiving if you ♥♥♥♥ up said genetics way too much. Keep an eye out for inbreeding.

It reminds me of my early years playing the original homeworld series. The story is top class and did not dissapoint. The combat was fun and still very much similar to how the "predacessors" played. Would recommend, however I feel the pricing (especially since I purchased in Australian Currency) leaves alot to be desired and is not something to be purchased on the fly.

If strategy is your forte, than I would suggest this game, more so if you are a fan of the previous titles.

Good 4x game, Challanging enough.
