I think this games player base all have the same story, play for a few hours and get your ass handed to you, uninstall the game, come back a month later and suddenly its one of the best games you played of all time.

The game is fantastic, from art, music, world building, environmental storytelling, skill expression in the movement system, enemies, ect... . However there is a steep learning curve that causes many people to have a hard time getting into the game. However the discord and community are very open and helpful, and resources such as maps/guides are plentiful if you need them.

The dlc expands the already fantastic world by adding a few new regions, and add 5 campaigns to the existing 3, that each explore a different world states of the world. New challenges for the introduced campaign playable characters and expeditions, which add a new way to replay the game.

If you want a new unique experience, I recommend buying this game, at 80+ hours I'm about halfway done with the last campaign, with many of the challenges and expeditions to do alongside the modding community's creations. In my opinion the price is more than fair.

5 player max multiplayer is ASS, who green lit this?

The current lack of keybinding options and mouse sensitivity options are ridiculous for a game coming out in 2025 on PC. The lack of video options is also disappointing. Controller is fine, but these are the main reason why I'm not recommending right now.

Otherwise, first hour of game play was fun, most upgrade materials seem easy to get, apart from "golden rations" which require the world to be reset. The game is punishing, expecially on death.

Causiously optimistic, hopefully more control customization options will be added promptly.

Fantastic Game with a lot of creativity and replay ability. The mods add a ton of content to add on top of the great vanilla content. Super to play with a group of friends or a great challenge if your attempting to play the harder world modes.

Recommend trying expert if you enjoy a little challenge.

One of the best roguelikes ever made. Super fun to play through and to unlock new ships. The difficulty comes not as a lack of stuff( Such as items, a skilled player could beat the final boss without getting a single ship unlock), but to progress you need to learn the game.

This game is good and funny. Just a bit short, hoping for p3.
