Graveyard Keeper is a chore. But it's also very fun. The story is funny and quirky, with simple, but lovable characters. The quests are written in a way that always keep you on your toes, with simple plot-twists and entertaining dialogues. The gameplay is satisfying, with a good crafting system, incredible tech trees and lots of stuff to do (simultaneously!). I wouldn't recommend this game to people who have difficulty doing a couple of things at once, as you have to juggle plenty of tasks at times and it might get confusing. It's fun for hours. I've played for 20+ hrs so far and I feel like I'm halfway through the story, ~30% considering the DLCs.

That being said, the game is a chore. There's barely any quest log (apart from the NPC menu) and the game really sucks at giving you hints as to what to do next, you have to figure out everything yourself (or use wiki), which does make the game feel really satisfying. It's annoying at times and actually feels like a work simulator. It does get better, though. The game offers a variety of options to ease your gameplay and help automate things with zombie cheap labor. Once you're there, the game does genuinely feel much better to play and is definitely much more satisfying.

I've barely encountered any bugs in the game, apart from one - I plotted a land to plant some carrots, but that one particular piece of land was not interactable in any way. I had to remove it and re-plot it. It went back to normal after that.

Keep in mind, though, while the game's title is Graveyard Keeper, tending to the graveyard is <10% of the gameplay. It's worth it, though.

A good battle royale plagued with microtransactions, bugs and terrible matchmaking system.

If you enjoy the competitive side of the game, you'll have fun in ranked lobbies, like I did, but other than that the skill-based matchmaking makes the game mostly unplayable for casual fun.
