The story and gameplay mechanics as you progress is very immersive.

Tekken lost it's identity after the release of Season 2. Most game mechanics removed and its clear that the developers do not listen to player and community feedback.

If you told me Tekken would be like this after 30 years, I should not have wasted time and effort learning many things in this game.

First off. when I first saw the trailer of this game, I am so sold and I told myself that I will get the Palace Edition. But when I saw some reviews, I thought maybe this game is not worth the $70 price tag and its just pure nostalgia and re-used cars with only just a few ones added to the list.

Here are the game's PRO's and CON's based on my own experience playing the game.

PROS:
- Different mechanic on how the NOS fills up. It is not the typical bottle or gauge that fills up on its own.
- Unique method on how to proceed with the story
- Gameplay art. I for one liked the way the characters are presented.
- Take Over event. This event is a good way to practice driving fundamentals while testing your new card build.
- The story in my honest opinion is better than Heat. It reminds me of NFS Most Wanted.
- Challenging races and police. (Expect to be frustrated in some races and events so you should drive goo always.)
- Unlimited gas station repair but with a cooldown of 3 minutes.
- Delivery Missions. You get to try different cars.
- A$AP Rocky
- Customization options are okay, but could have added more options/choices.

CONS:
- Your car easily gets the "totaled" animation if you collide with another racer's car at high speed, same with NPC and police cars but what I hate is that it also happens despite just being at 120 MPH.
- Game physics. Sometimes, you just randomly flip or hit hard despite landing properly or when it should not happen.
- You cannot sell engines that you bought unlike in Heat.
- AI racers can cost you the race if they crash and you are unable to react since you are too close behind them
- Maps are lacking. Some tracks and routes are overused.
- Drift scores to beat are very difficult.
- No way to jump to either safe houses even if 1 heat level.
- Restarts should be infinite and not limited.
- Cops can be super difficult if you do not know yet how to handle high heat level chases.

Overall, the game to me is great (Story, racing experience and cop chase). I like the effects and the racing experience but I think $70 for this game is not "IT". If you have other games that you can still play and hold out for atleast a year or two for this game to go on sale, then I would recommend that you do that.

PS: I caved in and bought this game because I currently do not have any other game to play.

Nostalgia and a better way to meet new people and learn the old and new cards.

It may not be the same for some dialogues in some parts from the original copy of the game but whenever I play this. It reminds me of the countless hours I've spent as a kid trying to finish the missions and exploring the whole map. Up to this day, I still know this city better than my own city.

80's is truly something I wished I had experienced and this game just told me that I missed alot in life.
