I would love to recommend this game to others, as I found it has great gameplay, great graphics and probably (by reviews from PS) great story too, but I can't recommend it until devs make it playable without crash occuring every 5 minutes of gameplay.

For some reason, everything is loaded into RAM at some point, so your usage of RAM would be about 14GB. CPU is basicly unused, moving around 13% (Ryzen 7 1700) and GPU switching between 0% and 100% (no between usage).

So yeah, I would like to play it, but it's unplayable and overall very bad port. I am waiting and hoping for fixes.

Altough there are lots of bugs, game is in it's early and demo version. As a developer I fully understand that they need some echo from players. For myself, Gothic is the most popular RPG since I played it.
For this new version, I like concept and "difference", that is making game whole new experience. The world is different, but it's similiar to the old one and it's keep poping flashbacks into my head from the old Gothic.
I like the new concept of fighting system. It's modern and more realistic than the old one.
There could be option to skip dialogs, since I read much faster, than they are talking, but I appreciate the gestures that characters are making, altough personally, I would give a little less gestures (it looks like talking to italians right now, no offense). Chromatic aberration is not good for eyes, but I guess that it's demo thing.

In the end, I would definitely play the <insert custom world here> out of it. It's same, but different.. But still same. Is it better than old Gothic? The demo, no, but it's pretty close to it. If the whole game would be bugless (again, it's demo), optimalized and had added more features (like skipping dialogs, keeping old system with strenght, dextery, ...), I would say it could be another masterpiece that has the right to bear the name Gothic.

Walking 4 kilometres only only to get wiped by mortar, 10/10 would walk again

Probably the best of Dark Souls series by story, second by difficulty
