Cult classic!
Need some workarounds to run properly on Windows 10 though.
Go for the GoG version instead.

Take a journey in the beautiful world of NaissanceE. An ancient and mysterious place, where the light and darkness will unite and dance together to deliver you one unique, very often jaw-dropping experience.

Apocalypse Now - Dubai edition. No, no, it's a lot more depressing, powerful and touching than the Apocalypse Now movie!

Bethesda created a trully masterpiece with their fifth game based on the Elder Scrolls universe. More immersive and engaging then ever before. With more freedom of developing your character, mind-blowing, living and realistic world created with new engine and the most fluid gameplay compared to any game from the series. You literaly can live in the world of Skyrim. After finishing the main storyline you can basicaly continue playing forever, because of the randomly generated quests.

Your character is blank page and you have to write a book on it. With no templates, no limitations of skills to use, gear to wear or spells to cast. Your playstyle creates the hero you are. Unlike the previous games in TES only the main storiline scales with you. That means, that you can encounter really deadly and dangerous foes early, mid and even end game. Not to mention that defeating a dragon brings you satisfaction that very few games can make you feel (atleast the first time :P ).

The exploration, the conversations, the battles...you can't get enough of it. Epic, immersive and better in almost every way TES experience. There are bugs here and there, but nothing gamebreaking.
I've played it on XBox 360 and now i bought it on Steam and it's even more mind-blowing and beautiful! Also the game feels fresh and enjoyable everytime you start a new toon. The community expands this huge game with tons of mods, so it's a must-buy not only for RPG fans, but for every gamer! Even if you get bored after 20-30 hours of playing, you will keep coming back again and again...and again and again...

Darksiders is underrated game. Why? I don't know.
Many reviewers describe this game as God Of War clone. Even if it's true, I see nothing wrong with that. On that point, are all the shooters clones? Are all games sharing same gameplay mechanics clones? I mean, yeah, it have similar gameplay at it's core, but in my opinion, it's more correct to put this game in that particular subgenre of hack 'n' slash-action-adventures, rather to call it clone.

So what is that game about.
You can find about the plot in wikipedia or something. In that type of games, the plot plays secondary role (atleast for me). What I want from that type of game is good, solid gameplay. And Darksiders have it. The game's story is decent enough to keeps you playing and thats more than enough for me.
The short version: you play as WAR - one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, summoned to restore THE balance between the good and evil.
For the most of the time, you hack, slash, climb, pull, shoot, solve puzzles, open chests, fight bosses...What more do you need?

The gameplay is solid and polished. The combat and platforming feels and plays fluid. I've had some difficulties with the shooting, but nothing gamebraking. The puzzles are challenging, but not too hard.

The art is comic-styled with the typical hyperbolized models of the characters, armors and weapons, which makes the world of Darksiders epic and badass.
There are some RPG elements, but nothing special. Collect souls, buy upgrades, movements, gear, etc. The score and voice acting are on decent level, but fits well and helps the game to feel even more epic.

So if you love God Of War, Dante's Inferno, Devil May Cry, Prince Of Persia, Legacy of Kain, you will love that one too. It plays right, feels right, looks right, it's a good, solid and polished game.

And FFS, people, PLAY IT WITH GAMEPAD! I can't imagine how can you play that sort of games with keyboard and mouse! You will hardly enjoy the game without a proper controller. It's designed to play that way. Some people call it bad port, i call it bad peripheral choice.
I've played it on Xbox360 and it plays the same. So nope, not a bad port at all.
Had some problems with my Logitech Rumble Pad controler though, but putting x360ce make it work like charm.

Once upon a time, Painkiller, Wolfenstein and Bioshock f*cked together and then Necrovision was born...

It's nice shooter with old school vibe - bosses, big levels, lots of ammo, puzzles, switches, secret places, etc...
The visuals are not top notch, but fits well. The cutscenes and voice acting are TERRIBLE, there are many bugs and glitches, but the game is actualy fun to play and thats where it shines - the gameplay.

Nice mechanic is the use of melee combat (and shadohand on later stages), alongside with the pistol.
Once the player get the shadowhand, the gameplay is becoming closer to the Bioshock series, cause the different spells, combined with the tipical gun shooting. Controls are little different compared to the Bioshock though - left mouse button for the left hand, right mouse button for the right hand.

I said "combined", so now is the time to mention the COMBOOOS.
Our hero have three types of melee attacks - kick, left hand melee and gun melee attack. The bayonettas and the shovels can be thrown at the enemies to nail them on the wall, the gas lamps exept to light the way, can be used to burn the hordes of undeads and freaky creatures. The arsenal is impressive.
It's good to perform different attacks to create combo. For example - knock down the bastard on the ground and then finish him out with the pump. Or slice him with the bayonetta for the "Herr Doktor" combo.

There are different "challenge rooms", which becomes avalible after beating any given level. The challenge rooms helps the player to permanently unlock different gear types to be avalible in the inventory.
There are parts of the game when the player controls giant mech or even ride a dragon. Yeah, the it's total mashup of many mechanics from different games (there is even bullet time system implemented in it), but it fun to play and it works...for the most of the time.

It's not AAA title, it screams "I'M A CHEAP, LOW BUDGET, SOMETIMES UGLY GAME", but it's charming in some inexplicable way. So, try it!

Great and fun turn-based strategy game a-la Civilization V. Great replayability cus of the random-generated worlds. The gameplay actualy is not overwhelmingly complex. The artstyle and graphics are on decent level. There are three factions to choose from with several rulers each.
Really enjoyable easy to learn/hard to master experience!

Deep and rich MOBA experience! Steep learning curve, but it's worth it.
