After 0.2 this game kind of worked on low settings in VR. Update 0.5 has rendered the game inoperable again. Can't even get through the menu to change settings because the game has maxed out my 3070ti immediately following launch. I can see why they are removing promised features, they can't make the game function as is.

I want to root for Kunos, I loved the original AC. Both of these facts contribute to my significant disappointment with this early access. Would have preferred the early access be super stripped down feature wise, but functional on accessible hardware.

One hour in and loving it, captures the magic of first playing Hollow Knight without feeling like a repeat.

A bit of a struggle to re-learn movement vs playing late game HK, but having a blast.

UPDATE: everything about Groal is mean-spirited or Team Cherry assumed we're all hard-core steelsoul masochists. Game quickly went from being pretty fun to a slog. Disappointing to pay for an experience which feels more like a slog than a fun challenge.
