First of all, this review won't be about the useless in-game purchases that are everywhere, including buying storage for your character or stash.
This game is one of the most addicting games ever, not just because it's an RPG, but because of the following statements:

Gameplay:
You choose from a variety of heroes, each with unique abilities and playstyles, and venture into procedurally generated dungeons filled with hordes of enemies and formidable bosses. The more you progress, the more you'll unlock better rewards, unlock some zones and have access to many more items. Leveling up could be very frustrating as it could take a lot when your reach a certain level. That means you'll have to kill more enemies on your way to lvl 100. OF COURSE, it could be fun moving around the map and exterminate, essentially, everyone. PERSONALLY, I wasn't a fun of grinding.

Replayability:

I believe you only get access to eight-nine different characters that you could play with, each one having different skills, weapons and having fun depending on which one you like. Considering that it took a minimum of 25 hours to get level 100 on viking, i think that the characters you have are enough. You can always buy more characters with real money, including an expansion pack that i happily bought for 2 euros. Of course, it's not only characters that matter. There are countless hidden bosses that you could fight in this game, and many of them that i fought were actually pretty fun.

Updates:

The develepor has been consistenly updating the game, every update being a 3-4 month difference. I do enjoy season 4 because the dungeons got bigger, better rewards and a new hidden boss that drops powerful weapons.

Conclusion:

Having played this game 3 years ago, i had a lot of fun and excitement, but tbh i do also like hero siege 2 in this state as i actually find it quite fun and playing with my friend as well. If you're into diablo, I recommend this game!
