mirage made me hope
this one delivers
ubisoft finally figured it out again

If you've ever played a 3D sonic game then you won't be too shocked by the janky sonic moments where you go TOO fast and end up flying way off the spring you were supposed to hit. The OST is, as always, top notch though team sonic went above and beyond with this title by adding lofi to the fishing which ramps up this feeling of stepping away from all the action to relax. Fishing itself is overpowered and makes any meaningful effort to hunt down Koco and seeds completely foolish as one good star rain and a lot of fishing can have all your stats at MAX pretty quickly, which is good because the fishing itself is the simplest it could ever be with a single button needed.

Combat is simple and laughable the further you get and the stronger you get. Even the highest difficulty can't really stop you from spamming the attack button in 80% of fights.

Raising speed and rings is tedious and long and should have a way to get more than one level at a time with a 15 seconds animation between each interval.

Dragonball Xenoverse is like a bad fanfic where you're the writer, putting your odd-looking non-speaking character into every fight and every story without ever saying anything or having any emotional moment, transforming with no bonds of friends and literally buying yourself Kaioken.

Thus, it is a great game.

It's ok I guess.
