Play it relatively blind, though don't fret about loosely following a guide. Sorcerer's Place and the Wiki aren't bad! There will be moments where you might have forgotten something, or only realised its importance as the story's progressed.

For its age (and being a 2e AD&D game), it is surprisingly easy to learn and simple to play. The game itself isn't very challenging, but that's not the point (and there is a 5-point difficulty slider in the menu). Besides some awkward combat moments, it's completely smooth the whole way through.

All in all, let yourself enjoy what it has to offer, and wonder: "What can change the nature of a man?"

Holds up well after 10 years; the oil-paint style is beautiful, the missions are well designed, both aesthetically and as actual levels (especially regarding challenge achievements like Ghost and Mostly Flesh & Steel), and the gamefeel serves the character fantasies of 'sneak thief' and 'assassin' well.
