I had high hopes for InZOI, as the life-sim genre really needs a shake-up after what The Sims 4 has been able to get away with over the years.

Sadly, it hasn't even left the gates before it's starting to show red flags of it's own.

Hearing that the company is taking an AI first approach when there's already huge voids in the game that make it feel soulless is not a good sign. It already lacks a human touch and from the looks of things it will not receive that for a long time.

Support human artists. I'd refund this if I could.

Hard avoid. A lot of wasted potential and it's not even worth visiting the ruins. Pick up at 90% if you're desperate.

Uses the webcam blinking to great effect, to connect you the story so well. It will surprise you and I cannot recommend this experience enough.

My only criticism is this is clearly a VR game in flat-screen mode. It feels like a missed opportunity to not include PCVR support, and with eye tracking? The emotional impact would be so much more critical.

But even with that in mind, it is nonetheless an incredible experience.

If you're feeling brave, you can even have the webcam image in the corner and stream it to your friends, but bear in mind it's a serious and emotional experience, so I'd only do it with the real ones.

Good dialogue, genuinely funny, has some satisfying moments.

This is definitely up there as one of my favourite choices games.

Well worth the money. It's a short, surprisingly high-octane experience with some great puzzles and a surprisingly captivating story.

Cute, short, fun, and actually pretty good.
