Great job rejecting the culture you're born into in favor for the novelty of one you will never belong to. Your over-interest and idolization of Japanese culture and media not only makes you unwelcome in your home culture but will grant you only ridicule in the world you so eagerly try to thrust yourself into.

Yes, you are a Weeaboo. Yes, you will be made fun of. While you are free to your opinions and technically there is nothing wrong with preferring one name over another, claiming to be completely deterred represents your detachment from your patriotism because you find stimulation in the perverseness of trying to weed yourself into a world that not only did not welcome you, but you will never belong to.
