The shape of a snickers is ergonomic: it's thick enough, and its irregular surface makes it comfortable to hold.

The taste is well balanced: a thick enough layer of chocolate, caramel, peanuts, and nougat. The peanuts add the crunchyness and that bit of saltiness that "makes" the snickers bar. A Mars is essentially an incomplete Snickers, its sweetnes and caramelly gooey overload not counterbalanced with nutty crunchyness and saltiness.

Snickers are the Platonic ideal of the candy bars. It is perfectly balanced in every way, yet doesn't seem to compromise any of its aspects for another. It has it all.

The whole of the chocolate surface seems to be irregular, but not irregular enough to make it look awkward. It is also not too smooth so it doesn't feel unnatural. You have things like kitkats that are very smooth and where the form is important for the product, but they just feel weird to the touch. If I wanted smooth chocolate, I'd eat a piece of chocolate. This is a candy bar, which is different.
