I'm lowkey enjoying this game however I will add upon the negative reviews because this is by far the worst campaign I have had the displeasure of playing in my entire life, perhaps of any game ever.

I know mindless, brain-rotted slop eaters such as myself allow Activision to get away with this garbage; however if you do have a spine, there is a good chance you can get a refund for this game--even surpassing the maximum allowed time limit according to steam's refund policy (2 hours)--due to the dev's failure to fully disclose the extent of which generative AI is utilized to consumers, deceptive marketing, etc.

Zombies is cool, I even like endgame, and multiplayer is apparently good, Jev seems to like it(?), or at the least be tolerant of it (I haven't played MP).
That's a combined total of at the very least 2/4 (50%) game modes I am actively enjoying, more realistically weighing towards 3/4 (>50%) because If I didn't like Zombies and the relaxing vibe of endgame (not the campaign) so much I would probably not mind playing the multiplayer, so is it even valid for me to give this game a negative review?

COD Campaigns can be insanely good, I mean I thought MW2019 was fire, rivaling even the original games S tier storytelling and gameplay by having stronger gameplay, and more enjoyable settings and scenarios, yet not storytelling, in my opinion. And even though non of the games have held that candle since MW2019; MW2022, BO6, BOCW were certainly palatable if not good (or at least having very good aspects dragged down by some other negative aspects). Which goes to show that it has nothing to do with games being newer, the dev's are just specifically lazier this year or something, or Activision did this game very dirty by rushing it, dev layoffs, restrictive guidelines, idk I'm not a dev, I'm just a consumer.

This is not just another mid/bad campaign like MW3 or vanguard, this is some how worse than both of those. This is by far the laziest Call of Duty campaign ever conceived, I mean I felt more enjoyment watching the 2 minute intro for Ashes of the Damned than I did seeing anything in the entire campaign.

It is solely a tutorial for this years DMZ, with terrible subplots/"missions" and storytelling that does a disservice to prior (specifically BO1 & BO2, even Cold War and BO6, while not being as good as 1&2 are still probably at least 100 times better than this) games in the series.

The fact that this game is getting slaughtered is absolutely beautiful, of course its Call of Duty, so it's still gonna generate more revenue than 99% of games on the market--in parts shared by the WarZoners, and people (such as myself at this point) stuck in the abusive relationship that is yearly Call of Duty's, but I hope the hit is finally big enough to tell Activision to get their shrimp together.

The only other campaign that was "trash," aside from this one, in my opinion, was MW2023. Even Vanguard's campaign is disgraceful, but more enjoyable than both MW2023 and BO7. And even with that being said, I would rather play MW2023s campaign again than play this campaign again 100% of the time, if I was stuck in some hell-scape purgatory where I'm being forced to play the worst and most unenjoyable COD campaigns.

I would give this campaign a 1/100, sorry to some of the other teams such as audio design, it is very good but it is not enough to change anything, and their talents are being wasted working on garbage like this. I'm sure they are still getting paid though, hopefully. So even though the game itself holds more positives than negatives in total (for me personally)--in reference to the campaign specifically (Which only has to be played one time to unlock DMZ/Endgame) I would like the developers morale and profits to be damaged for thinking this was okay to be played by people throwing them money for entertainment.
