Growing up, when crossing the road, my parent would tell me: "If its you against a car, the car wins". In this game I realised the same statement holds true for trees. Wonderful game.

After 3 hours, I feel like I've seen everything of the game, but I did enjoy the experience.

Apart from some connection issues on this launch day, thoroughly enjoying, esspecially for fans of the prequel!

I loved sid meiers railroads as a kid, which is why I bought this game. The game is a good follow up to that game, but I have a few gripes.

The other competitors are annoying as ♥♥♥♥ - they announce any minor thing that happens. "Oh I stole this technology". "Oh that station you just placed looks ♥♥♥♥ that will never turns a profit". You make this more rare in the settings but in my experience it is more effective to just play without competitors.

It can be very clunky to place railroads because everything is so small. Same thing for signals.

Finally it is such a shame there is no multiplayer. It would add so much to the game

I never really understood why the game took so long to develop, but the moment I booted it up it became very clear. The game is insanely polished for today's standards and even after having just completed the first chapter I can say it's an experience.

I won a 2v2 game with a 10000 point deficit between the two teams. Opponent called us lucky. Would recommend.

RTC vibes, with an interesting morality twist. Best part was when I couldnt distinguish the corpses from the ♥♥♥♥ anymore. There might be something wrong with me.
