Somewhere between hour 1 and 2 of playing this you'll realize this game is seriously fun.
By hour 5, you figure out how to slide and hop to keep velocity up and it's a whole new game as you get better at dancing around the map.
By hour 10 the hook is in, and it's too late.
By hour 20 you appreciate how well the unlocks and challenges are tuned.
After that time ceases to exist and you accept your fate to 100% the game.

Seriously, though... if you enjoy Vampire Survivors and you'll love Megabonk, despite all the silliness within this game. Well worth the $10... especially if you have a Steamdeck.

Such a great world building game. I can't wait to see people's creations when more and more folks discover the game. Still some kinks to work out with combat and questing, but they're off to a terrific start.

If you liked Hades... this is an easy choice to pick up.

I'd recommend this! Ideally play Blind Forest before Will of the Wisp (I played Wisp first, enjoyed it so much, I did Blind Forest next).

When I started this, I was not super impressed. By about 30-40% into the game, I couldn't put it down, and by 80% I was ready to recommend this to all of my friends.

An instant favorite game. My thumbs hurt. Really fun platformer/metroidvania game -- great graphics, textures, music, game design. Part way through the game I shifted from trying to beat the game to wanting to explore every inch and try all the challenges because I want to enjoy spending more time in the game. It's one of those games where you can pause on any screen and it looks like a work of art.
