I still think Survivors of the Void was superior as an expansion to the base game. However, Gearbox fulfilled their commitment to fix the issues in Seekers of the Storm, and as of now I think it's really solid and worth the price if you're a fan of Risk of Rain 2. The items are really fun and the level designs of the new stages are very unique. The survivors are fun to play as, and the new final boss stands out as my favorite of the three.

I'm changing my review to recommend the expansion. I hope future Risk of Rain 2 projects launch in a completed state so we can avoid the long road it took to get here.

super disappointed with the amount and quality of content in this expansion. The previous expansion was much better in that regard.

the MAIN issue that makes me say you shouldn't buy this expansion is because this update came along with the most game-breaking bugs this game has ever seen. Not even the early access beta was this buggy. it's bad. do not buy this

bring back Space Jazz

polished but short little clicker game. I thoroughly enjoyed the time i had with it but I wish there was more to do. I feel that for the price there should be a bit more content. Also, the tags for this game call it a roguelite but it is definitely not one.

I got this game for free, it came with my graphics card. It was a great game to push my new GPU and see what it could do. The graphics are definitely the best part of the game and I was pretty amazed by them.

However, besides the graphics, there is basically no reason to play this game when Dead Space remake exists. It's just a worse game in almost every way.

I don't really understand a lot of the reviews of this game claiming that the game is unfair.

This game is extremely forgiving to mistakes and even allows you to be quite sloppy with your execution at times. Perfection is not demanded from you. Your character is extremely mobile for a souls-like game. you have three dash charges that give you plenty of invincible frames at the beginning of the dash and it gives you quite a lot of distance. Your character starts with a life-steal effect that is easily triggered, and the charge attack allows you to easily close the distance to your enemy when you've dashed away to dodge. That being said, the game is quite difficult. Bosses will require trial and error and generally provide an enjoyable souls-like experience of learning enemy attack patterns and throwing yourself at the boss, improving each time.

If you don't like souls-likes, don't buy this game. If you do, you'll probably enjoy it. Don't buy this game expecting to have an easy experience because this isn't that type of game. definitely worth picking up during the pretty generous sales

This game is really fun but there is definitely a learning curve. Once you get used to it after a couple of games it becomes awesome. If you think you might like the game, you probably will. It's definitely worth your time and the 5 dollar price tag.

Be warned: you will deal with performance issues while playing this game regardless of settings and hardware. Don't buy this game if that is unacceptable to you.

Aside from that, this game is awesome. I've never played the original but I'm hooked on the series now. The guns feel powerful and the enemies even more so. Definitely buy this whenever it goes on sale
