The title that got me into sim-racing. No matter what other new racing game I dive into, I always come back to this one.

BATTLEFIELD IS BACK BABY!

No more "superhero/specialists", no more wacky over the top skins, and thankfully no more cringe voice lines/emotes. Just pure FPS destruction and chaos like a true Battlefield should be!

Long time Battlefield veteran here, and my initial impressions are very positive.

Had no issues starting the game and joining a match shortly after the release hour. Good thing is we no longer need the EA app. We only need to link our account, so getting it on Steam was my preferred choice.

The core gameplay is fun. The gunplay feels rewarding. The movement is at a good pace (not extremely fast where it feels arcadey, but not boringly slow). The sound design is epic as in every Battlefield game. The graphics are awesome and the optimisation is excellent. Haven’t noticed any major bugs.

The maps are a mix of small and medium to large, but don’t expect anything close the size of Squad or other milsim titles. I would prefer for future maps to be on the larger side, as they capture the Battlefield feel more completely!

Overall I can totally recommend this to any fps fan even at this early stage!

Being a long time Counter-Strike player, back from the time of lan parties of cs 1.6 at the local computer clubs/cafes, I see this game as a successful advancement of the title. It is consistently updated with lots of bug fixes and new additions like new sounds, new maps, new textures and so on. There are so many different modes you can play outside the standard one which is a great bonus. The competetive scene is very interesting to follow and even get into if you have the skills.

Overall, I definitely recommend this game to everyone, and especially to the old school Counter-Strike players that haven't migrated to the new title yet.

Awesome game,really entertaining,addictive.It requires you to think,develop tactics (teamplay is key),but also needs fast reflexes and split second decisions.As a fan of the original Dota,I really enjoy it.
