Game feels soulless. Obvious money grab making this online only and riddled with micro-transactions. The marketing for this game was full of lies too, saying that it was made for skaters. They had Sean Malto voice a character, but didn't use his name or likeness? Why didn't they have professional skaters in the game like ALL the other Skate games? The annoying robot character always chiming in and hand-holding to the max is so frustrating. Did they listen to any feedback from play testers? Multiplayer only is so dumb. I don't interact with anyone in game and I don't want to.

Art style feels like a Fortnite ripoff and kills any type of immersion that the other games had. Can't believe this is the best game they could make after multiple years and today's technology. It can be fun chaining together tricks and lines, but that is expected for a skateboarding game. Overall, kinda fun, but feels super dated and lacks any of the charm of past Skate games. The fact that it is free is somewhat redeeming, but I wish they just made a normal single player (possibly co-op with friends) game that cost a normal price.

Mixed feelings towards the recent update. It fixed many of the annoying bugs, but they removed anything above 60 fps. This single change ruined the entire update IMO. Really hoping they revert that change and my review will become positive.

Probably one of the most interesting games I have ever played. Starts off a little slow, but once you get to meet/know all the people in town, it hooks you! The story was very interesting and unique in how everything was linked throughout the 3 time periods. I plan on playing through again and making different choices. I highly recommend!
