This game demonstrates both skill and knowledge in first person shooters and chess. Aside from the actual gameplay, there is a very unique world to explore, especially the outdoors. This paired with wacky sounds and abilities makes for the perfect game that anyone can play.

Rocket league is very simple in concept: you're playing car soccer... or car hockey, basically some combination. Sure, there's not a lot to that on the surface, but this game brings a whole different challenge that other games don't offer. A skill ceiling is hard to fathom when you're playing a physics-based game that gives you the full 6 degrees of freedom with your movement, a single thrust, and jump/flip mechanics. Most games assist you with controlling your character; this game doesn't. It's all up to you how you play. Top that with awesome cosmetics and you have a game that lets you express yourself perfectly.

Rocket league is definitely a must from me. It has unique gameplay, supports competitive play, offers customization, and is completely original (besides SARPBC).
