Overall, this game is just fantastic. The story, music, atmosphere, and visuals all come together to create a fantastic horror game. I consistently found myself creeped out, unnerved, uncomfortable, or outright scared which is exactly what you want in the horror genre.

To start with “bad", the combat of this game is a rather divisive topic: Overall, it's not the best (but when has a Silent HIll title had "good" combat) and at worst it's down writing infuriating with how many enemies are thrown at you in required fights. Most of the time, as with any survival horror game, you can just run away, which is good considering your weapons have durability and need to be replaced or repaired (though, throughout my playtime I don't think I was ever at risk of having 0 weapons). The end of the game can be a downright slog, which when combined with the game's difficulties that are woefully labeled [Reading “Story Mode” may make you think it’s easy mode, but I assure you it’s Normal Difficulty], leading many players like myself picking hard and then running face first into the experience that is the end of the game.

Additionally, unlike a "traditional" Silent Hill game, f plays more like a Visual Novel. Instead of playing the game and receiving one of 4 or 5 endings depending on the playstyle. f has a singular ending on the first playthrough with the plot continuing to unfold as you go through New Game+ and beyond. To see the full story, the player must at least complete the game at least 3 times to get to the “True End” with 5 runs allowing you to see all the possible endings and story beats the game has to offer. I understand this can be daunting to some players, but I urge you to please replay the game! My initial idea of what the plot was, and where it finally landed were completely different, and engaging with the story and creating your own ideas of where the narrative takes you is part of the enjoyment of the game!

I will admit, I've been a fan of Ryukishi07's works for a while now so I was already willing to engage with replaying the game and trying to decipher the plot. While some may see the game as not a Silent Hill in any way since it doesn’t take place in the titular town. I honestly don’t think that’s really needed. The game still works off character’s inner hells and demons creating the nightmarish reality they find themselves in. Many elements that players have loved about the Silent hill series are still present within this game.

Final note, if you find yourself having enjoyed the story of Silent Hill f, please think about giving Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni (Higurashi – When They Cry Hou on Steam), Umineko No Naku Koro Ni (Umineko – When They Cry on Steam), or Ciconia No Naku Koro Ni (Ciconia When They Cry - Phase 1: For You, the Replaceable Ones on Steam). These are Ryukishi’s most notable works, and are all fantastic stories that you may enjoy if you loved the writing of Silent Hill f.

Without a doubt, the most fun I've had playing a souls-like.
The combat system feels fast and fluid, and while I only tried 2/3 of the weapons (Dual Wield & Greatsword) they were both incredibly enjoyable with their own play-styles. The boss fights are challenging always felt fair (though sometimes only in retrospect). The variety in the bosses and their attack patterns is engaging and each one feels pretty unique.

I'm not the biggest fan with how often some levels are reused for bonus missions but, overall I do not think it detracts too much from the game, and these help offer a new perspective as you go through a familiar location with a new path.

Finally, the game is worth full price for the final boss fight alone. It may have taken me MANY more hours than I'd like to think about, but I was having an absolute blast each attempt vs it.

10/10 game, if you're a fan of souls-likes and especially Sekrio this game is a must try.

Rather fun MMO thats FTP.
YOu have a bunch of different classes sometimes like in the case of mages you have male and female who both have very different skill sets and styles of play.

This isnt your normal MMO either, its more of a brawler type of MMO where you use your spells and abilites to get combos. Each dungeon ranks you and your party(If you have one) on how well you did on things like combo rate, time, deaths, ect.. and you get bonus EXP based off of that.

Id say if you're interested give it a shot I mean hey its free what do you have to lose except an hour or two of your time if you dont like it?

Fun game, didnt think it would be good at first but then I actully started playing it. The learning curve is a little high but once you get used to it it is a really fun game and you can spend a while just playing levels trying to beat it on the higher difficulties.

I have to ammend my review of Arkham Asylum, because theres a new Batman game in town. Not only does it take everything good about Arkham Asylum and make them better, but it introduces more aspects and they're amazing as well.

You like the riddler puzzles? Its got 440 of them.
You like the combat? Try fighitng 30 guys at once while they all try attacking you.
You like the exploration? Try an entire City.
What about if you just want to be The Motherf%#king Batman? Well you're in luck because hes the star of this game.

If you liked Asylum you are going to love City just as much if not more, and it has enough extras, side missions, and secrets to keep you playing for quite some time. This is an amazing game and should be on your list of games to play.

This game is really fun. Its 1 part rave in your monitor, 1 part music player, 2 parts game. All together it creates the funnest music based game that I have played.

Be warned though this game is hard on the eyes and I highly suggest you play easier songs on lower difficulties before doing suicidal 200% visuals dubstip ravemix #226.
