Genius combo of base-building and tower defense. The campaign doesn't have a lot of plot but the technology tree keeps it addictive.

Likely the best base-builder I've played. It has a really distinct atmosphere! You can feel the cold in the soundtrack, the visuals, and the narratives. You're in a state on constant crisis from the get-go and every second counts (particularly the first couple of days). Even compared to the space survivor games (Surviving Mars, Planetbase), the stakes feel higher here. I haven't spent enough time with it after the beating the main story line but it's worth the purchase even if just for that main challenge.
