This made me feel worse, but in a way I actually needed to.

I rarely review games, but I just felt this one deserved some praise. From a high level, the story is incredibly simple and linear. I disagree with the people who say the story it too shallow and it doesn't hit: the story is perfectly fine as it is, and the overall plot is not what makes this fantastic. The magic lies purely in the execution. It lies in how beautifully and how well all the small details of each phase of living a relationship are captured. Through a ton of similar media, even across other mediums like books or movies, NOTHING I exposed myself to came quite as close to depicting how it truly feels like as this game.

If you have ever been in a relationship, and you have ever gone through each of these phases, this game will simply bring you to tears in how effective it is at narrating how it feels like. It is truly cathartic, it will make you want to stop, ponder and process as you go - because you will need to.

A couple days after playing, this game is still on my mind, and I have been thinking both about it, and the themes narrated in this story quite a lot.

I don't know what else to say. Go ahead and play this game - it's well worth it, even at full price.

I just wish I could erase my brain and play it again.

I am not light about using this word, and I very rarely review games, but this is a masterpiece that most people need to play. Full marks on my end.
