Possibly my favourite game of all time.

This is coming from someone who really enjoyed all the Assassin's Creed games, Tomb Raider games and Spiderman PS4.

People have been saying that the combat and progression is "Souls-Like" which I think is fairly accurate, combat is difficult (depending on what difficulty you chose, but I played on Jedi Master, and found it to be difficult yet rewarding, I didn't spend more than half an hour on each boss encounter) and relies heavily on parries, blocks and dodges. You lose all exp gained since your last Skill point when you die, but can retrieve your XP by attacking the enemy that killed you. I also found the combat to be extremely satisfying through the amount of skills and attacks you learn and can use over the course of the game.

Visually I think its absolutely stunning, the world and atmosphere perfectly captures how each world is supposed to feel and look and truly makes you "Feel" like a Jedi. I spent a lot of time just roaming the world and going off the beaten path, simply so I could find extra cosmestic loot and experience every nook and cranny this game had to offer.

The customization is well done, allowing you to collect different Ponchos and skins for your droid and your ship, and being able to customize your lightsaber is a beautiful touch that ties it all together really nicely.

The story I think was enjoyable at least, and I didn't feel like any of it was particularly lacking. There's also a lot of lore to be found throughout the game that I found to be really interesting.

Overall I had a lot of fun playing this game, and after I had finished the story, I even started it up again the next day, just to go off and see if there are extra "hidden areas" to explore after you finish the game (which the are, or at least they aren't accessable until you have acquired all the force powers) I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Adventure or Sci-Fi games, and definitely everyone who likes the Star Wars franchise. Personally I think a solid 9/10
