Of course, as this is a free trial, there are a couple bugs. The biggest one I encountered was the tutorial not going away, and inhibiting my ability to continue the game (a simple return to menu and reload game fixed it though). I think, for me, the time system in the game is strange and a bit frustrating. Time seems to pass at inconsistent rates and doesn't seem to stay paused when I want it to. It's just a bit confusing. Also, while I'm sure there will be more options in the full release, I'd really love to see some more swatches for floors and walls! More color options would be amazing, and I would love more options for hardwood. My only other qualm was in the way the furniture catalog was laid out. I wish we had a tab for 'required' and 'preferred' items so they were easier to find. I found myself struggling to decipher between the two, and even just find the items needed in the catalog.
Overall, for a free trial I'm so impressed! The game has a fun story to follow and interesting challenges from tenants not paying rent to babysitting alcoholics (no! I'm not kidding!). I can't wait for the full release, and I'm sure I'll be replaying the free release more until then!
p.s. PLEASE give us a god mode in the full game I'd love to just have fun and reno places without the budgets and requirements!!
