POO GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TERRIBLE GRAPHICS!!!!!!!! CANNOT FIND ORES OR BOSSES ANY WHERE. ABSOLUTE ABANDONWARE GARBAGE , THE DEVS HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING TO MAKE THE EXPERIENCE ENJOYABLE. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

This is a very unique game, only comparable in scope and genre to the Planetside games. Two fictional factions fight over a huge map in a war that can last anywhere from a week to a month. Thousands of people take part in these wars, and at any one time on the map you can expect hundreds of people fighting on the front lines at a time. And, other than the game developers providing strategic positions/towns and switching around spawn positions in each war, all defences/vehicles/weapons/supplies/bases/outposts are constructed by players. Logistics personnel mine and refine components and materials to create weapons, vehicles and army supplies in the home region cities; sprawling complexes of factories and roads that are the heartbeat of the war effort. Without these entirely player-managed back lines, there wouldn't be a war to fight.

Transport logistics personnel take goods to the front and construction personnel use cranes, shovels, hammers and a range of materials to build bases, structures and defences all the way up to front lines, meaning bases will change every game to suit the battles. If there is a heavy tank presence, someone will deliver an anti-tank cannon to the front line, and it can change the tide of the war across the frontier.

Tank and artillery crews are the main players in the game, as they have the raw firepower to take down buildings, infantry and enemy vehicles. The infantry itself also plays an important role in protecting the tanks, in building up trenches and fortifications and in suppressing the enemy enough to advance and control more territory. The game lends itself to a Great War-style of combat, and attrition warfare is placated by the introduction of new technologies and weapons to advance the factions to a post-Second World War combat style.

The game itself is incredibly unique, and there are many friendly members of the community that either invite you to join clans or will gladly train and explain to you the basic mechanics of the game if you're not sure what to do or how to do things in the huge world. It uses a region system to separate the players across separate instances, but the progress is persistent and real-time actions can be viewed from afar on the map screen (more so with radio intelligence). This can lead to queues and issues with joining heavily contested regions, but logistics tend to have a priority so the supply system is relatively unaffected.

Bad aspects:

Like with any game, the community is varied and can oftentimes be annoying, rude or manipulative and controlling. Clans have immense power - the biggest have hundreds of members and tend to hoard resources and vehicles, as well as having a say in which front lines will receive support. Clans can be controlling and have the power to dictate to you what they want you to do as a non-member, with the threat of a mass-report to discipline you. Whilst clans do contribute majorly to the logistics aspect of the game and build a lot of bases, they are big enough that if you want to have a comfortable time playing and want to experience all the game has to offer with help and support, you have no choice but to join a clan.

Vehicles, artillery, even field guns require more than one person to operate. As a solo player you will be restricted to either logistics runs, or to repetitive infantry combat. You either play this game with friends, you join a clan to find tank and artillery crews, or you make new friends as you go along. The game does not cater to a solo experience as such, and you will be limited to what you can do without at least one other friend to accompany you.

The game has numerous balance issues with tanks, infantry and other minor things. They often change every war, but tanks can be slow and underwhelming, and infantry has no penalty to spawning every 20 seconds.

Despite the cons with the game it is very exciting and addicting. There have been 93 wars as of this review, but each war you take part in feels very real and active. No matter what you do in the game, you know you are part of something greater, and following the state of the war knowing that you helped make the push that brought you to victory, or solemnly remembering that you fell defending what was once a quiet home region torn apart by a vicious enemy blitzkrieg in the last hours of the war, is an experience no other game can really provide. There have been many wars, but they are all historically catalogued and recorded, and each war has been unique.

TL;DR: PLAY WITH FRIENDS OR RESORT TO CLANS TO GET THE FULL EXPERIENCE OF A PERSISTENT WORLD WARFARE SIM BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP BY THE PLAYERBASE.

Graphics are terrible and very bad AI programming. Shame I can't refund this piece of garbage, waste of 4$.
