You ever just wanna shut your brain off and play something super casual while chatting with some friends in Discord?
This is the perfect game for exactly that.

NOTE: I also own this game on both PS4 and Switch, so my playtime doesn't accurately reflect my experience with this game.

The physics are extremely floaty and imprecise, so that may turn some players off, but if you're playing with a party of at three or four, it's pretty hard not to laugh as the game devolves into sadomasochistic mayhem. It's quickly become one of my favorite party games.

Although it isn't an especially long or challenging game, combining spells together with a friend or two is a solid time and is worth at least one cooperative playthrough.

If you like precision platformers, you're really gonna like The End Is Nigh.
Just don't go into it expecting more Super Meat Boy. It's much slower and a little heavier, with a greater emphasis on exploration and problem solving. That isn't to say that it doesn't require twitch reflexes, because it does. It's just that that's less of the focus here.

I can't say I've played anything else like it, and it's weirdly satisfying. I dig it.

Whoever plays the wizard gets to do all the work while their two friends just ♥♥♥♥ around and make dumb jokes.
Highly recommended. My friends and I had a blast.

It falls a bit short in terms of roster and modes in comparison to previous Tekken games, but the fighting itself is even more fluid than ever!
It won't top Tekken 5 as my favorite, but damn if it isn't fun.

It's an absolutely great game, but a word of warning to newcomers:
Either try to play this game as a purely stealthy ghost or as a combative psychopath who kills everyone he sees.
If you try to play the game somewhere in between those two styles, you're dooming yourself to mediocrity. But playing with either of those two extremes, the game's systems REALLY shine.

When I first started playing VR, I was a little disappointed in Beat Saber. It doesn't really take full advantage of VR the way that some other games do, and it absolutely should not be somebody's first VR experience.
That said, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more fun and addictive VR game than Beat Saber.
It's so good. It's so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun.
I'm mad at myself for ever being harsh on this game.

I really like this game, and I really want to recommend this game. Everything about this game is just so charming that it's just a really enjoyable experience.
However, unless this game is on sale for at least 50% off, it's just too difficult to recommend.
At full price, you're paying 13 USD for less than two hours of extremely casual enjoyment, and there just isn't enough to it to justify that.
If you see it on sale, it's definitely worth checking out, especially if you enjoy quirky or absurdist humor, or even just cute animals. But as is, there are plenty of other games that'll get you more bang for your buck.
