it's okay i guess

This game is an unpolished mess, but it's fun. If you've played the superior All Stars Racing series, I'd wait for a sale on this one, but it's got solid Mario Kart clone mechanics with a unique teamwork system. Everything shines most when you're playing online, if you can get into a race that is. That missing polish? Network stability. One player closes the game before the race and everyone gets kicked out of the lobby after a two minute timeout. Finish a race and you're waiting through another two minute timeout because some child alt-F4'd in disgust. I really hope they patch this, because the lack of care and testing really shows. You know you're in for /one of those/ games when you can't find your current placement because they decided to write it as "1" or "3" instead of "1st" or "3rd." That, and the lack of visual and audio feedback for knowing when your boost is charged up. And the voice acting. Oh god the voice acting.

This is a very cool concept, but hold off until they provide a control scheme that makes sense. Keep my five dollars, though. Please use it to better the simulator.

I am EXTREMELY sad about this. I want this game so bad, paid full price because I believe in it. The game refuses to save. Not "I don't know how to save," but actually claims to save the game and does not. I've tried save point saving and overworld saving. I am not doing a third new game on PC. I have requested my refund and will await an Xbox One version that will never come to be.

Also, anyone who's using an Xbox One controller has to force install the separate "Xbox One Controller" driver available in Windows, and not use the newer "Xbox Accessories" driver provided by Microsoft. The game only works with the old driver. Bad form.
