If you're a fan of the original Stronghold Crusader game this will not disappoint. It's the classic game with improved graphics, controls and larger armies. I haven't touched much on some of the new additions, but I am looking forward to the new content. I have played the original Stronghold Crusader since the early 2000s and I have no doubt this game will become one of my most played games, if not the most played.

I really enjoyed this game at first. But it's highly repetitive and I understand why there is so much emptiness and copy and paste. But after one of the recent patches my game was broken. Not that I couldn't play it but it broke locations. I was on my way to a temple prior to the patch. After the patch the game still says the temple is there but it doesn't actually exist anymore. So I can't progress through what I was doing. I truly believe in the future I will sink many more hours into this game. But until Bethesda is done with all it's DLC and the modding community has had a few years of work I won't touch this game. If you want this game I'd wait a few years before considering it. It's not worth the full price I paid for it
