The X: series' economic persistent space sandbox & Minecraft's voxel, creativity inspiring crafting system. Not to mention the well entrenched foundations, that is the Epic Modding communities both of those titles possess.
I've as of yet logged 70 hours of playtime, and have barely scratched the surface of the depth of content available to explore. That I can testify to being, a wonderful near inexhaustible source of dopamine rushes this game loves to reward me with, in which i'm very eager still to experience.

Racing.... Check. Robbing.... Check. Reckless Endangerment.... Check. Random acts of violence.... Check. Recreational Drug Use... Check. Ridiculous Random Events.... Check. Repo'n rides back that the popo repo'd.... Check. Running out of bullet points beginning with R... Check. 10/10 would Re-Check again.

Is it expensive? yeah.
Are the DLC's really necessary? No, but yeah. (basically paywalls to unlock content geared towards faction mechanics)
Is Total War Warhammer I mandatory? No.... But again yeah. (Unlocks the main campaign, and world map.)
Was it worth the price tags? Depends on how long you'll be eating ramen noodles to save up enough to afford it.
Do I regret the purchase? Agree with the costs? No and Yes. Lets face it, Total War Warhammer is a production of epic scale. Involving many professionals in many development departments. The production value is evident in the quality of the extremely well scripted dialog, and professional voice acting. The 3d modeling artists, to the composed orchestra. All these indiviuals need to be paid, and as a gamer I understand to support my industry I'm relied upon by these developers and producers, directors, and programmers for my contribution and investment. In order to ensure the continued excellence in a franchise which has brought us so much enjoyment throughout the years.

If you build it, they will come...
Effortlessly, they will undo all the work you have done.
