Crash occurred multiple times. Updated drivers and hot fix did not help. Thought I solved the crash by turning off Ray Reconstruction so I was swinging around the city to test stability. Once I started the main mission, baam! Another crash.

Steam denied me a refund because I spent 5 hours trying to troubleshoot the game. Spider Man Remastered and MIles both had issues on PC that have never been fixed. Busted HDR and a progression blocker on remastered that stopped me from playing so I don't expect this title to be bug free any time soon. Buyer beware!

The choices you make in this game stick with you. Combat takes getting using to, but for its time it was fun and visceral. Played through it way back in the day before it was on Steam. Playing through the whole series again and The WItcher: Enhanced Edition still holds up.

Playing at 3440x1440p, 21x9. Had to download a mod to get the cut scenes to work properly, but now everything is Beautiful!

I tried Gears 5 on PC thanks to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. I was blown away! Solid 4K60, HDR, and Dolby Atmos. The facial animations, lighting, and ultra detailed texture made for a eye watering presentation.

We did experience some server issues when trying to play co-op. My buddy kept disconnecting. As of 9/8 this issues seems to be resolved.

So impressed that although I have access to Gears 5, I purchased it on Steam. This games deserves to be in my Steam Library!

Had to request a refund due to too many issues. The major one being that if you are in a 4K color space (422) the game restarts your PC at launch. Once you switch the colorspace, the game launced but some options will crash the game (changing vsync). If you do manage to get into game while running at 4K, the game has really bad screen tearing that can not be defeated with vsync.

I was upset to hear that the game does not support HDR, but man, at this point I would have settled for the game to work at all at 4K.

For the curious, I am running a Geforce Titan XP with a 6700K cpu.

It is a shame, this was my most anticapated games of the year.
