If you are skeptical about this game, let me simply sum it all up for you as of current state of affairs.

Pros:
- Combat is good, shoot stuff, they occasionally say silly stuff in response to how busted you are, or kinky stuff, depends on how you handle it.
- FPS complaints are pretty much falling under the umbrella of "If it doesnt run at 200FPS, i DONT WANT IT". Swallow the pride just like your protein shakes, playing @60FPS feels no different from 120+FPS.
- Endgame is exactly how a BL game would normally feel, farm towards your build, scale your build with guns, help friends / matchmake to find new ones and complete the UVH content until DLC drops.

Is the game expensive for what its currently offering? Sure, to plenty of us, but are you not considering the same question each time you buy a game? "Will I enjoy it?" Y or N, you decide. At the end of the day, shoot to loot, pick 'em up and scoot. See you on Kairos. o7

Speaking from playing it for several hours at a time trying to search for items, you find new ways to tackle bosses and elite enemies. The fun starts once you begin understanding how the game's difficulty soars at various points and you have to learn to acclimate to it. Deflection is perfection. Counter-attacking is confidence stacking. Hesitation means defeat. Never assume there is only 1 enemy, assume you are surrounded, control your space, always double slice, make sure it's dead for a second, third, and fourth time.

Lastly,

Get good.

TLDR of the year in a nutshell right here.

Pros: Game gives you a challenge and tells you to approach stuff differently to tackle it. Doesn't baby you into everything and bosses are much smarter than before.

Cons: Occasional bugs & crashes and of course the classic "The camera killed me". Locking onto certain enemies at certain points is more of a hindrance than a helpful option.

40+ hours deep and I love the game so far. There are difficult battle scenarios at the meat of it, however the game conditions you to learn to evade, guard, or counter these different kinds of attacks almost immediately.

TLDR:

Pros:
Excellent combat system, reminds me of older Tales Of games.

Combination attack system is vibrant and beautiful to mix and match when you acquire the full team.
Boss themes are absolutely wonderful to listen to while in the heat of the moment.

Story is captivating (still haven't finished as of this being posted) and memorable all the way through

Cons:
Earning Gil is tight right from the start, but you will come across large lump sums in chests as you explore, so don't feel too down about that right away, it gets a little easier. Budget budget budget!

Battle strategy system can be a little jarring at first glance but with a few minutes of careful analysis for your party, you can make it easier to understand by tweaking the default setups so you can maximize your approach to things.

I love the Dragonball series since I was reasonably little, however I will give some pros and valid cons as an average player.

Pros:
- Combat style - 3v3,2v2, and 1v1 in certain modes can be really fun and really exciting to see certain matchups take place. You do have to keep attentive to the presence of certain characters as assists while they are not in the field because the attacks can be surprisingly fast and opportunistic.
- Character diversity - You can actually choose which variants of the character you want to use from several generations of Dragonball and it actually makes a solid difference between each one, for example, Super Saiyan Goku (Stage 1), Kid Goku (GT), and then Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan A.K.A Super Saiyan Blue Goku, who's moveset is almost completely different and oriented for speed and delivery.

Cons:
- Online competition : Now hear me out, everyone learns the game at a different pace, but once you step into an online ring / lobby, PLEASE remember that there are people whom are low ranking in appearance, but have been playing on other platforms. You might get trashed in 40 matches before you ever win your first one against a player who literally just joined the game for day 1.

- P.S: I understand the perspective of "just watch YT for combos and instructions to get better" and "stay in practice mode until you are ready" but I spent about 70+ hours of my total 100+ in practice mode and I still can't manage certain things yet. I say the game is WONDERFUL, but don't step into online play after picking your favorites expecting there to be a simple victory, you must train hard, and train long.

I'll be honest, there was some hesitation buying this so early on post-review from online sources. This game makes me feel like I am in a better version of Deus-Ex Human Revolution. Honestly it feels great. Let me give a TLDR for this so far, 28hrs in so far as of this post being made.

Pros:
- Combat - Fluid and fast-paced
- Dialogue - Spicy, time sensitive sometimes, which emphasizes importance and split second decision making.
- Storyline - Yeah, I know Keanu Reeves is in the game, but him aside, the side jobs / gigs are wonderful to take on while you are running around Night City.
- Map / Locations - There are LOTS of locations to nit-pick and explore over and over again to spot crime and stop it, or just.. let it happen.. or ya know... be a delinquent with them.
- Cybernetics - Very important that you keep an eye on what cyberkit upgrades you apply to yourself as you play the game, because sometimes hot-swapping them will make a difference between falling behind in a stealth situation or getting your a**hole blown off of you in a firefight.

Cons:
- Image tearing - Without giving spoilers, first time running it on a Old gen i7 intel processor and 12GB of RAM with a GTX1060, on a SSD, the images do tear every now and then, but I took it as a visual error from the story, won't say more from that, but you can take that how you will.
- Light-piercing bloom effect - Sometimes the lights in the area get so powerful (not organically as the game designed it to be for the sake of a quest or a malfunction) that your vision becomes a bright, blinding light that you can't see anything through.
- Vehicle stats - I wish there were vehicle stats for each one that is sold to you or at least you can scan for it via the scanner functionality, because sometimes I would rather know how much I am going to spend on a car with less than capable handling and low durability for a street race, when I could have just used a Delamain cab and ran the race with the same situational parameters.

Honestly there's a lot to do in this game, and you can spend hours causing shenanigans across Skyrim. In terms of DLC, it's wonderful, sure it's aged, but it is still wonderful to play. Dawnguard is fun, obviously for the vampire wife, but also for the fact that you gain a lot more exploration potential. Dragonborn DLC is good simply because you can yell at people and it's totally justified. Hearthfire is good if you just want to live that RP life.

All in all, 9/10, the only thing I would appreciate in terms of changes, would be adding a Borderless Window mode for the game in order to allow alt-tabbing between game, and in some cases, streaming services, or just hiding the fact that you are yeeting that annoying Khajit that's been trying to sell you Skooma 900 times over with a shout that can kill an entire city.... but hey, to each their own, ya know?
